TechCrunch Extends Side Event Deadline: Because Your AI Project Wasn't Ready Last Week Either

AI, Startups, TC, TC Sessions: AI, TechCrunch Sessions: AI, Venture

In a shocking turn of events that surprises absolutely no one, TechCrunch has extended the deadline for Side Event submissions for their Sessions: AI Week. That's right, folks. If your groundbreaking AI project wasn't ready last week, fear not! You now have a whopping three extra days to slap something together and pretend it's been in the works for months.

According to sources who definitely exist, the extension comes after an overwhelming number of applicants realized their "AI" was just a Excel spreadsheet with some fancy macros. "We wanted to give everyone a fair chance," said a TechCrunch spokesperson, while subtly rolling their eyes.

Here's what you can do with your extra time:

  • Actually start working on your project.
  • Watch three more YouTube tutorials on machine learning.
  • Pretend you're brainstorming when you're really just scrolling through memes.

But hurry! The new deadline is May 2 at 11:59 p.m. PT, or as we like to call it, "the night before the event when you'll finally start panicking."

So dust off that half-baked idea, give it a cool name like "Neural Blockchain Quantum Cloud AI", and submit it. Who knows? You might just be the next big thing in AI—or at least get a free t-shirt out of it.
